The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is accredited in Turkmenistan
On March 27, 2024, Chairman of the Mejlis D.Gulmanova accepted credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Turkmenistan Christopher Alberto Martinez Berroteran.
The Executive of the National Parliament, on behalf of the Head of the State, congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to a responsible post, wishing him success in fulfilling the important mission entrusted to him, to strengthen relations of friendship and cooperation between two countries.
Expressing gratitude for the greeting, the diplomat conveyed to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, cordial greetings from the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro Moros, who addressed best wishes to all Turkmen people.
Throughout the conversation, the ambassador was familiarized with the priority directions of the domestic and foreign policy of Turkmenistan. As it was noted, Independent and Neutral Turkmenistan is comprehensively aimed at expanding fruitful and mutually beneficial relations with all countries of the world, including the countries of Latin America, with which an active dialogue has been conducted in recent years.
The subject of an interested exchange of views was the prospects for bilateral cooperation.
The plenipotentiary representative was also acquainted with the structure and activities of the Mejlis, its role in the legislative and legal support of the large-scale socio-economic transformations as well as democratic reforms carried out in Turkmenistan.
In conclusion, the Ambassador assured that he would make an effort to successfully promote the bilateral partnership between two countries.
