Turkmenistan is participating in the 59th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council.

On June 16, 2025, the 59th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council opened in Geneva. The event is attended by representatives of UN Member States, international organizations, and civil society institutions.

The session will run until July 9 and will cover a wide range of topics: from the protection of human rights in conflict situations to issues of freedom of expression, gender equality, discrimination, as well as the impact of climate change, technology, and migration on the observance of rights and freedoms.

Turkmenistan, advocating for respect for international law, neutrality, and constructive dialogue, consistently supports efforts to strengthen human rights and expand humanitarian cooperation.
