An article by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, entitled “The Foundation of Strategic Partnership” has been published in "People’s Daily".

The publication coincides with the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the People’s Republic of China and presents a comprehensive vision of Turkmenistan-China relations.

The article emphasizes that the partnership between the two countries is rooted in centuries-old traditions of the Great Silk Road. Today, these ties continue to expand across multiple areas, including politics, economy, science, and culture. Special attention is devoted to the energy sector, in particular the Turkmenistan–China gas pipeline, which stands as the largest energy project in Asia.

President Berdimuhamedov also highlighted the prospects for transport and logistics cooperation, stressing the importance of East–West corridors. Equally significant is the convergence of positions between Turkmenistan and China on major issues of the international agenda, including peace, security, and sustainable development.
