In light of the missile strikes carried out by the State of Israel on residential areas and strategic facilities within the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran on 13 June 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan issues the following statement:
Turkmenistan expresses its deep concern over the growing escalation of tensions in the Middle East.
As a country with the status of permanent neutrality, formally recognized by the United Nations, Turkmenistan consistently adheres to the principles of non-use of force or the threat thereof in international relations.
Turkmenistan reaffirms its steadfast position that all disputes and disagreements must be resolved exclusively through peaceful, political, and diplomatic means, in strict accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and the universally recognized norms and principles of international law.
