During the discussions, the parties explored avenues for cooperation in promoting the principles of neutrality in international relations. Ambassador Hajiyev emphasized that Turkmenistan, as a country with a unique status of Permanent Neutrality, consistently advocates for the peaceful resolution of conflicts, the strengthening of trust among states, and the development of diplomatic dialogue.

Particular attention was given to the upcoming joint event, scheduled to take place this summer in Geneva with the participation of the Geneva Center for Neutrality and other partners. It was underlined that such initiatives play a significant role in advancing the principles of peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding in international politics.

Additionally, the participants exchanged views on possible areas of cooperation in the field of educational and analytical projects, aimed at studying neutrality as a tool for international peacebuilding. Ambassador Hajiyev highlighted that 2025, declared by the UN General Assembly as the "Year of Peace and Trust" at the initiative of Turkmenistan, serves as an important opportunity to enhance dialogue at the global level.
