The Delegation of Turkmenistan Participated in the 97th Session of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child

On August 28-29, 2024, the delegation of Turkmenistan participated in the 97th session of the Committee on the Rights of the Child, held in Geneva.
During the session, representatives of Turkmenistan presented the results of the review of the 5th and 6th reports on the country's commitments in the field of child rights protection under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
During the presentation of the report, the Committee members noted the progress made by Turkmenistan in fulfilling its commitments and provided their recommendations for further improvement in this area.
The delegation of Turkmenistan expressed gratitude to the Committee for its attention to the work being carried out in the country and reaffirmed its commitment to continuing efforts to improve child rights protection in accordance with international standards.
